Learn to be a Florist with our Florist Masterclass events held in Halifax West Yorkshire.
We will be opening the new classes when we get the new shop open on Huddersfield road (approximately November). They will run in the evening (7ish) for a couple of hours. The masterclass starts with a glass of bubbly (after all this is to enjoy – it’s not school!), and then we teach you how to select flowers, different arrangement types, what goes with what (in colour and flower type), what vases are best for each flower and how to ensure you get the maximum life out of your blooms.
Some flowers emit gases that cause others to wilt, so it’s important you know what flowers can actually go in your arrangement. The way you arrange the display, how to cut the flowers and how to condition them are all important.
We have an experienced florist on hand who has been working for Earththings for approaching 30 years to help and guide you to create the perfect bouquet, posie, wedding bouquet – whatever you want to produce.
You then get to take your newly created arrangement home with you to show off your new found skill.
